Anvil

Name: ‘Anvil’ Alvin McBride

Age: 23

Height: 8 feet (244 centimeters)

Hair: Dark Gray

Eyes: Red

Driving Goal: Respect

A former street gang leader back in Ben’s home town, Anvil was defeated by Ben as a girl, and therefore feels like he has been completely dishonored. He follows Ben to Japan in order to get revenge. Taking on all of Ranma’s regular rivals, it seems that no one can defeat him, until his weakness is discovered.

Anvil uses an altered form of steroids known as ‘Beast’, that not only increases his strength, but greatly increases his tolerance for pain. With this drug, he is more than a match for Ranma and his friends (even Cologne and Happosai couldn’t defeat him). After he receives a tampered batch of ‘Beast’ he gets beaten by both Ranma and Ben.

When Anvil returns, He is cured of his addiction while still unable to feel pain. He enlists the aid of one of Ranma’s more powerful opponents, who takes him to Jusenkyou to get some spring water to help him with his revenge. However, Anvil wades into Gouniichuan, where a dog drowned 2500 years ago.

He goes back to Japan with another plan. He enlists the aid of a local gang and captures Akane. Ben accidentally saves Anvil when he saves Akane from the condemned building where she was being held. Anvil, being bound by inner-city honor, realizes that He must pay Ben Back. During a rematch with Ben as a girl, Anvil realizes that Ben is a guy (after seeing him change forms fifteen times). Realizing he cannot kill Ben and keep his honor he beats off Ranma’s opponent.

Anvil then disregards his revenge, and takes a job as a Bouncer at a nightclub owned by a friend of Ben’s. There he runs into Bubble, and the two of them start dating, Anvil gets really mad at all of the people flirts with, claiming they’re trying to steal his girlfriend.

One of Ranma’s tougher opponents, but not too bright. He will attack anything and everything he considers an obstacle to his revenge, and later anyone who he feels is hitting on Bubble. He does have a strong sense of honor though, however misdirected.

Weapons: Two large knives with brass knuckle grips that can be used as either edged or blunt weapons and, occasionally, a large wrecking ball and chain stolen from a crane at a demolition site.
