Terry was one of two Boys living on the streets who were adopted by a great fighter named Jeff Bogard. (It’s unknown if he and his brother Andy are blood relatives or just two unrelated Kids that Jeff picked up.) Jeff intended to teach them the secrets of the Hakyokusaken fighting style, but he was murdered under the order of Geese Howard, a rival pupil, before he could do so. However Jeff’s Sensei, Tung Fu Rue, was still alive. Tung ordered Terry and Andy to perfect their fighting skills and he would teach the better of the two in order for them to get their revenge on Geese. Terry returned, proving to be the better suited to learn the secrets of the style, and eventually he supposedly killed Geese. (Geese either faked his death or came back to life on several occasions, I think we all know which would be the more realistic answer ^_^). However, Tung died in the process of teaching Terry the secret techniques.

Now Terry Fights to increase his skill level, like his brother he feels he must constantly strive to raise his abilities to new heights.

Terry has found romance since he avenged his father’s death, He and the bounty hunter known as blue Mary are fast becoming an item. Terry’s gloves once belonged to Jeff, which is why he treasures them so much.
