Ben Setlin’s blind Ninjitsu master. He trained Ben for years in the art of blind fighting, asking for little in return… until Ben started making big money in the film industry. Although, publicly, very few people knew Ben by name, Yashiro wanted some recognition… and a cut of the profits. Seeking Ben out in Japan, Yashiro constantly bugs him for a large share of the cash Ben has made, and goes through great lengths to get it. He even tries to trick Ranma into helping him.

Possibly worse than Nabiki, he can be seen near any fight taking bets from bystanders, just before he fixes the fight (with Nabiki usually helping him out one way or the other).

He seems to remember Happosai from his early years, and recalls that they were, at one time, friends, but shows little concern for the old pervert now.

Ninjas work their opponent into fatigue, and expose them to telling blows. Using techniques to baffle and confuse their targets, fighters often loose sight of their Ninjitsu opponents. Weapon training is also a large part of Ninjitsu skills. The Matsusake school specializes in Blind Ninjitsu, honing a fighters ability to battle without the aid of sight (especially useful for Matsusake Who is blind).
